Choose an agent with proven results. The difference between a good agent and an average one can often be as high as 10% on the sale price. Keep in mind that 1% on a $500,000 sale is $5,000. As a seller, choosing the right agent means more money in your pocket.

Buyers naturally want to buy property for as little as possible and sellers hope to get as much as they can, it's logic. The agent who acts for the seller should know how to sell the features and benefits of the property, establish the target audience (based on previous sales), understand property marketing and strategies, be trustworthy and professional with buyers, have a good reputation in the area and be a skilled negotiator.
